Project Name: Ganshao Railway
Case Description: Ganshao Railway starts from Nankang Station of Beijing-Kowloon Railway in the east, passes through Nankang District, Dayu County of Ganzhou City and Nanxiong City of Guangdong, Shixing County, Renhua County and Zhenjiang District of Shaoguan City, and reaches Shaoguan East Station of Beijing-Guangzhou Railway (formerly Shaoguan Station). The total length is 182 kilometers, with a total of 117 kilometers in Shaoguan. Four new railway stations, namely Nanxiong Station, Dayu Station, Shixing Station and Danxiashan Station, are newly built. Ganshao Railway is the connecting line between Beijing-Guangzhou Railway and Beijing-Kowloon Railway. Its construction will greatly improve the transportation conditions in northern Guangdong and southern Jiangxi, which currently only have road transportation, and promote resource development and economic development between regions. Ganshao Railway runs from Nankang Station (inclusive) to Shaoguan East Station (inclusive), with a total length of 179.071km (60.523km in Jiangxi Province and 118.548km in Guangdong Province).
