Case Description: Foshan West Station is located in the northwest of Luocun Social Management Office, Shishan Town, Nanhai District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province, and is under the jurisdiction of Guangzhou Railway (Group) Company. It is about 8 kilometers away from Chancheng and about 1.5 kilometers away from Foshan Shati Airport. It is adjacent to Luocun Avenue in the east, Guidan Road in the south, Industrial Avenue in the west, and Xingye Road in the north. Foshan West Station has a total scale of 10 platforms and 23 lines, and the building area of the station is 68,000 square meters.

As one of the main stations in the "four main and one auxiliary" Guangzhou Railway Passenger Transport Hub, Foshan West Station is an important railway passenger transport hub in the southwest of the Pearl River Delta, and is also the core area of the Guangdong-Guangxi-Guizhou High-speed Railway Economic Cooperation Pilot Zone (Guangdong Park). In the future, it will be built into a modern comprehensive transportation hub integrating aviation, high-speed rail, subway, bus, and Hong Kong immigration hall. It is currently the largest offline high-speed rail transportation hub in China. Foshan West Station officially started passenger service on August 18, 2017.
