Ethiopian Railway

Project name: Waterproof materials for railway stations in Ethiopia

Case description: The project is the 3rd, 4th and 5th sections of the new railway from Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, to Djibouti Port, and the section within Djibouti, with a total length of about 430 kilometers. It adopts Chinese standards and is the first cross-border interoperable electrified railway project planned, designed, financed and implemented by Chinese enterprises. The project uses Chinese products in everything from track materials, construction equipment, to communication signals and electrification equipment, locomotives and rolling stock.

Materials used: YN-B708 APP self-adhesive modified asphalt waterproofing membrane, YN-C801 non-tar polyurethane waterproofing coating, YN-C805 polymer cement waterproofing coating, etc.
